REPORT MONTH Unit 4 began the month shut down to complete the Cycle 16 refueling. The Unit was returned to service on April 8, 1996.

Power was reduced and the Unit taken off line for a turbine overspeed test and turbine balance test on April 9. During the restart, a turbine control oil anomaly occurred resulting in a manual reactor trip. The Unit was restarted on April 10. Unit 4 reached 100% power on April 15. On April 18, power was reduced to approximately 60% power to isolate the 3A and 4A feedwater heaters for trouble shooting of a heater water level control problem. The Unit was again returned to 100% power on April 21, and operated at that level until April 29. Power was reduced for a short time on April 29, to repair a steam generator feed pump control power ground. Power was returned to full power that same day and operated there for the remainder of the month.
