OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE DOCKET NO. 50-250 UNIT Turke Point 3 DATE Jul 10 1992 COMPLETED BY:G. Herbenick TELEPHONE: 305 246-7112 REPORT MONTH June 1992 Unit 3 is expected to operate at 87% power to conserve fuel until the end of the current operating cycle. Unit 3 is scheduled to begin a refueling outage on August 24, 1992.

On June 14, the Unit 3, Bank D Rod H-12 dropped into core while rods were being moved. Unit 3 stabilized at 68% power and commenced recovery of the dropped rod. The Unit returned to .87%

power that same day.

On June 28I Unit 3 reduced power to 50% to clean two Condenser Water Boxes.
