Docket No. 50-206 TMI Lessons Learned Requirements San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Unit 1 By letter dated May 22, 1980, it was indicated that the NRC staff would be provided by October 1, 1980, with the design details for the reactor coolant system vents which are required as a part of the TMI Category "B" Lessons Learned requirements. In order to submit sufficient information to enable the NRC staff to perform an adequate review, the date for submittal has been deferred to November 1, 1980.
By letter dated June 10, 1980, it was indicated that the NRC staff would be provided, by October 1, 1980, with additional information regarding the Main Steam Line Piping Integrity Evaluation. Specifically, the additional information includes the fatigue crack growth analysis and the effect of a Design Basis Earthquake on the plastic instability analysis. The additional analysis is being performed by Westinghouse and will not be completed until late November, so the date for submittal has been deferred to December 1, 1980.
