It also requested a response within 90 days of receipt of the letter, which would require our response by December 29, 1982 based upon our receipt date of September 30, 1982.
The purpose of this correspondence is to inform you that we will provide a proposed change to the San Onofre Unit 1 Technical Specifications responsive to Reference 1 approximately sixty days prior to return to power from the current outage. This schedule is in accordance with our prior commitment in Reference 2, which indicated that the TMI Action Plan Requirements described therein would be completed prior to return to power from this outage.
The model technical specifications enclosed with Reference 1 do not cover all of the post-TMI requirements currently being implemented at San Onofre Unit 1. Notwithstanding this need for model technical specifications, we are attempting to draft technical specifications for all of the modfications being completed during the current outage.
