Docket 50-206 Auxiliary Feedwater System Automatic Initiation and Flow Indication (TMI Action Plan Item II.E.1.2)
San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Unit 1 By letter dated November 18, 1982, the NRC provided the results of the subject review for San Unofre Unit 1. A requirement resulting from this effort was the submittal of changes to the plant Technical Specification to include periodic testing of automatic logic and logic relays.
The submittal was requested within 60 days.
The purpose of this letter is to notify you that additional time is required to prepare the Technical Specification changes. We plan to include other changes in addition to those required by the November 18, 1982 letter to incorporate the ongoing seismic modifications to the auxiliary feedwater system. It is expected that a submittal can be provided by March 11, 1983.
