Monticello Nuclear Facility. Accordingly, your application for o senior operator license is hereby denied. Enclosed is a copy of the Examiner's notes that indicates those areas in which you exhibited deficiencies.

You may file a new application after two months from the date of this letter in accordance with Section 55.12(a) of 10 CFR Part 55, a copy of which is enclosed. Under the regulations, each examination and reexamination consists of both written and operating tests. However, the Commission may, at its discretion, under Section 55.12(b), excuse an applicant from reexamination on the part of the examination which he has previously passed, if sufficient justification is presented. A request to be excused may be made at the time of reapplication.

In connection with the foregoing, your attention is directed to the provisions of Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, entitled, " Rules of Practice," copy enclosed, and more par-ticularly, Section 2.103(b)(2), wherein it is provided, in part, L

If you request a hearing, include with your request a list identifying which of your responses to the examination questions you allege were graded incorrectly or graded too severely.
