Dear Mr. Uravitch:
Tne Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) received a copy of the draft Environmental Impact Statement for Minnesota's Lake Superior Coastal Program. The NRC has reviewed the l
l document a:1d determined the closest nuclear power plant is the Monticello site located on the south bank of Mississippi River in Wright County, Minnesota, which is southwest of the program boundary. We do not believe the program boundary will impact the plant, nor do we believe, based on the licensing environmental impact statement, that the plant will effect the program boundary. Thank you for the opportunity to comment on your document.
