Transmittal of Plant Descriptive Information and Emergency Pre-paredness Plans to the Atomic Energy Control Board of Canada Pertaining to the Perry Nuclear Power Plant (Units I and 2)

You should be aware that the NRC has an agreement with the Atomic Energy Control Board (AECB) of Canada for the exchange of documents such as Pre-Ifminary and Final Safety Analysis Reports and Safety Evaluation Reports for nuclear power plants located, or to be located, near the US/ Canadian international border. In a recent letter from the AECB, the NRC was re-quested to limit future documentation exchanges to plant general descrip-tive information and emergency planning and changes thereto for Perry.

Therefore, confirming an agreement reached with Ms. E. M. Bunelli of your staff on June 11, 1985, FSAR amendments which change the description of the plant and its systems and copies of the On-Site and Offsite Emergency Preparedness Plans for Perry should be provided to the AECB at the following address at your earliest convenience:
