Mr. Kenneth Wierman i

Gentlemen:

Please let this letter serve as a response to the Notice of Level III Violation received by Kenneth Wierman. As I believe you are aware, Mr. Wierman has admitted to the misconduct set -

forth and can'only suggest that the misconduct was precipitated by poorjudgment and inappropriate " corner-cutting". As you are aware, the situation has been corrected by Mr.

Wierman's dismissal from his position at the Perry Nuclear Power Plant and that therefore no further steps ne' d to be taken by Mr. Wierman to avoid further violations, and that, to the best of e

Mr. Wierman's knowledge, the Pe:Ty Nuclear Power Plant is now in compliance with training instruction procedures.

. I trust this response answers your inquiry.

Very truly yours, COOPER & FORBES
