Ladies and Gentlemen:
A preliminary notification dated August 5,1999, has been received by the Perry Nuclear Power Plant (PNPP) from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency. The notification is for the unnual discharge fees associated with National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit Number 31100036 for the year 1998. On February 1,1997, the PNPP received permit number 3IB00016*ED. This permit incorporated the storm water discharge points previously included in permit 31I00036. All discharge point sources and associated fees for PNPP are currently covered under permit 3IB00016*ED. Therefore, the PNPP staff believes that no fees are due for 3II00036.
Due to the incorporation of the storm water discharge points in NPDES permit 3IB00016*ED, NPDES permit 31I00036 is no longer needed. Please cancel permit 31100036.
