authorized by NRC Operating License No. NPF-58, and to the discussion of our
findings with Mr. R. Stratman and others of your staff at the conclusion of the
onsite inspection.
The inspection focused on your implementation of de. sign changes and included a
review of your program for controlling temporary modifications. 'The enclosed

copy of.our inspection report identifies areas examined during the inspection.

Within these areas, the inspection consisted of a selective' examination of

procedures and representative records, cbservations, and interviews with

personnel.
During this inspection, certain of your activities appeared to be in violation

of HRC requirements, as specified in the enclosed Notice. A written response
is required. Oneviolation(withtwoexamples)wasider.tifiedforfailure

to satisfy the requirements of 10 CFR 50.59.
