The Unit experienced two trips during this reporting period.
The first trip, a direct trip from Buchanan substation, occurred on May 20 at 1909 hours0.0221 days <br />0.53 hours <br />0.00316 weeks <br />7.263745e-4 months <br />. The trip was caused by inadvertent reIty opera-tion while technicians were trouble shooting grounds in the associated relay wiring. The Unit was returned to service at 0527 hours0.0061 days <br />0.146 hours <br />8.713624e-4 weeks <br />2.005235e-4 months <br /> on May 21.
The second trip which was also a direct trip from Buchanan substation, occurred at 0100 hours0.00116 days <br />0.0278 hours <br />1.653439e-4 weeks <br />3.805e-5 months <br /> on May 29. The trip was traced to misoperation while technicians were performing relay checks on 345 KV feeder Y88.
The unit was promptly returned to service at 0800 hours0.00926 days <br />0.222 hours <br />0.00132 weeks <br />3.044e-4 months <br /> on the same day.
