In accordance with your application dated August 11, 1978, and pursuant to Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, Parts 30, 40, and 70, Materials License No. SNM-1168 is hereby amended to authorize the licensee to possess by-product, source, and special nuclear material that is in packages approved pursuant to 10 CFR Part 71, for the purpose of delivery to a carrier l for transport and in private carriage. License Condition No.10 is also amended to read as follows:

The licensee's commercial facilities at the Mt. Athos site as described in the application and in private carriage between facilities authorized to possess special nuclear material within the United States.
All other conditions of this license shall remain the same.
The above conditions were discussed and agreed to by your Mr. M. A. Glora and Mr. Norman Ketzlach of my staff on September 20, 1978. We have also infonned Mr. Glora that subsection 9.2 (page 103) of the August 11, 1978 submittal does not exempt you from compliance with the require-ments of 10 CFR Part 71.62(c).
