Additional information is required to complete the environmental assessment associated with your license renewal.
Enclosed is a list of environmental questions regarding CNFP's activities.
These questions were discussed during our site visit March 5-7, 1989.
Written responses to the questions are necessary to complete our renewal process.
The environmental review schedule calls for the receipt of eight copies of your response by May 1, 1989.

Provide a description of the sources for gaseous and liquid effluents, both radiological and nonradiological.
2.
Provide the effluent data for the period 1982-1988(liquidandgaseous).
3.
Provide environmental monitoring data for the years 1982-1988 (not average values).
4.
Provide an evaluation of the environmental impact of facility operations.
5.
Provide the frequency, volume, and makeup of the radiological discharges to the wet-weather stream.

Provide the stntus of the UF to UO conversion line. Do you still plan 6

Provide the State Water Quality Certification as required by Section 401(a)(1) of the Clean Water Act.

Confirm the location of the nearest resident.
If any of the factors for dose assessment have changed, discuss the changes.

Provide the specification for the stack (i.e., diameter, height). Do all gaseous effluents discharge through the same stack? If not, provide information on all stacks / vents.
- 10. What are the plans for removing the contaminated soil / sediment from the wet-weather drainage system?
- 11. Update the annual chemical usage in Table 2.1 of the 1983 Environmental Assessment for renewal.
- 12. Provide a description of the bulk chemical storage area.
