Subject: Inspection 50-245/85-14; 50-336/85-21 (5/13/85-6/29/85)
This routine safety inspection was of operational and supporting activities at
Millstone Units 1 and 2. Particular attention was directed to Unit 2 refueling
outage activities. No violations of NRC requirements were identified, and no reply
to this letter is required.
The following Northeast Utilities letters on issues identified during NRC inspec-
tions have been received and reviewed. Additional NRC followup will occur during
routine inspections, but we have no questions at this time.

for reactor coolant system piping inspections at Unit 2.
