This letter refers to the routine inspection conducted by Mr. D. Bessette of
this office on September 10 - 14, 1990, at the Millstone 2 site in Waterford,
Connecticut. The inspection examined the actions by the licensee to resolve
issues identified in NRC Inspection Report 50-336/89-13, dated October 11, 1990.

Also examined were licensee's actions regarding allegations submitted to the NRC
subsequent to the NRC Inspection Report 10-336/89-13.
This inspection was of
activities authorized by NRC License No. DPR-65.
Discussions of our findings
were held by Mr. Bessette with Mr. S. Scace and other members of your staff at
the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas,
the inspection consisted of selective examinations'of procedures and quality
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspectors.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
