Dear Mr. droczka:
SUBJECT:
UNIMPLEMENTED GENERIC SAFETY ISSUES AT HADDAM NECK AND MILLSTONE UNITS 1, 2 AND 3 On April 25, 1990, the staff issued Generic Letter 90-04 which requested information concerning the implementation status of certain generic safety issues (GSis) at your facilities.
Based on your response to this Generic Letter, dated June 27, 1990, our own records and discussions with your staff, we have updated our database on GSI implementation status. The results of this effor+ nre presented to the Commission at a meeting on October 25, 1990.
Enclos# es 1 through 4 to this letter summarize the staff's understanding of the current status of those GSis which remain unimplemented at Haddam Neck and Millstone Units 1, 2 and 3, respectively. We appreciate the assistance you provided in responding to Generit Letter 90-04 and we encourage your timely completion of those GSIs listed in the enclosure.
Please contact me if you have any questions or comments about the enclosed information.
Sincerely,
/S John F. Stolz, Director-Project Directorate I-4 Division of Reactor Projects - 1/11 Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation
