This letter refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. R. J. Paolino
of this office on June 11-15, 1990 and June 25-29, 1990 at the plant site in

Waterford, Connecticut and at the corporate office in East Berlin, Connecticut.

The inspection examined activities which included engineering support,'the
emergency diesel generator fuel oil program and environmental qualification of
equipment issues.that are authorized by NRC License Nos.-DPR-21, DPR-65 and

Areas examined during this inspection are described,in the NRC Region I
