'~6 EEPDETMONTH~PE 6/Unit 3 operated at essentially 100%reactor power until September 19, 1998.Then power was lowered to approximately 50%in preparation for a refueling outage.While completing the shutdown for the refueling outage on September 21, 1998, the unit automatically tripped when power dropped below 8%before the Excore Intermediate Range Channel N35 high power trip had reset (see LER 250/98-004).

The unit remained shut down for refueling for the remainder of the month, and is expected to restart on or about October 24, 1998.

50-251 Turke Point 04 October 5 1998~C..M 305 246-6204 RRP OR T M ORTH~RRPP/Unit 4 operated at essentially 100%until September 24, 1998.With the approach of Hurricane Georges, reactor power was lowered to 50%as a precautionary measure.When the threat of hurricane force winds was past, the National Hurricane Center downgraded the hurricane warning to a tropical storm'warning on September 25, 1998, and preparations were made to return power to 100%.After plant personnel verified that no damage had occurred, power was returned to 100%on September 26, 1998.
