Gentlemen:

Consistent with the requirements of 10 CFR 170.12(b), we have completed

the cost analyses for the Vogtle 1 and Vogtle 2 OL application reviews

for the period June 23 through December 21, 1985. The cost through that

period is $926,585 for Vogtle 1 and $72,099 for Vogtle 2. The 5

enclosures are a breakdown of the review costs by program office. When

the costs of $926,585 for Vogtle 1 are added to the costs of $2,457,115

from the previous billing report, the cumulative costs of $3,383,700

exceed by $306,300 the maximum fee of $3,077,400 as stated in 10 CFR

170.21. Accordingly,$306,300 has been subtracted from the costs of

$926,585 leaving a balance due of $620,285 for Vogtle 1. Within the

next few days, you will receive invoices for these amounts. When making

payment, please make reference to the invoice number.
