In accordance with 10CFR50.54(q) and 10CFR50.4(b)(5), Southern Nuclear Operating Company hereby submits Revision 29 to the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant (VEGP) Units 1 and 2 g
Revision 29 incorporates a design change associated with the consolidation of the Emergency Response Facilities Computer and Proteus (plant) computer. This consolidation resulted in the elimination of some unneeded equipment. Justifications for the changes are located in Enclosure
- 1. Enclosure 2 provides the insertion instructions. Enclosure 3 identifies the revised page. This emergency plan change does not decrease the effectiveness of the Emergency Plan.

Page 11-14, Delete the following wording. "This room houses a analog Section e input module (Albf) mounted in the multiplier cabinet. The multiplier cabinet serves as an isolation device and " splits" field inputs: one leg goes to the abandoned Emergency Response Facilities computer system and one leg goes to the IPC. "
Justification:
With the consolidation of the Emergency Response Facilities (ERF) Computer and the Proteus computer, the multiplier cabinet's functionality was not required. As such, the electronic equipment that provided that isolation and 4
" split" field inputs was deleted under the design change process. This elimination of the equipment increased the reliability of the inputs to the IPC.
