Dear Mr. Thomas:

As promised in our last letter to you dated December 13, 1984, we hereby notify you that the University of Virginia Reactor Safety Committee (RSC) met on December 19, 1984 to finalize its review and approval of the revised CAVALIER Technical Specifications and the Reactor Facility's written response to the final NRC safety evaluation review questions. These two documents, which were sent to your office on December 13, 1984, have been approved by the RSC with very minor wording changes. The list of these changes is attached to the official (dated) copies of the two documents to be found in annex to this letter.

We believe that these actions conclude our response to your letter dated November 26, 1984. Should you have further need for information, our Reactor Supervisor, Mr. Pres Farrar is available for contact at (804) 924-7136.
