On. March 23, 1989 we sent you an updated conversion schedule,. for - the University of - Virginia 's 2 MW - UVAR research; reactor, to meet the requirements of 10CFR50.64 (c) (2).- According.
to this schedule, submittal of our revised Technical Specifications l and Safety Analysis Report is due. These documents are: essentially -
ready,:and are undergning a review process by our Reactor.. Safety Committee:(RSC).- This review has been lengthy, in part due,ing on to new data _ presented at the September 10-14 International Meet Reduced Enrichment for research and Test Reactors in Berlin, FRG.
1 The RSC will next meet on October 24, and the reactor staff-expects j
'the committee's approval for the submittal on that date.
