Gentlement Please find in attachment the revised University of Virginia Reactor Facility Security Plan and Procedures approved by our Reactor Safety Committee on July 2, 1990. The new plan reflects the shutdown and de-fueled status of the low-power CAVALIER reactor and its imminent (but still subject to NRC approval) decommissioning. (Note: UVAR reactor operations will continue at the Reactor Wcility) . The new plan also addresses NRC sabotage study concerns discussed during recent meetings.

The enclosed plan supersedes a revised plan submitted to the NRC several years ago of, which the Commission took no action.

We will implement the new plan within one month from the date of notification of NRC approval of this plan.
