Changes to-U.Va. Reactor Facility Security Plan Docket No. 50-62
Dear Mr. Adams:
Your letter of-February 14, 1990, regarding our common understanding of how we are to proceed with the implementation of-recent NRC recommendations, was received on February 19, 1990.
In 5
response-to the recommendations, in the shortest possible time we wish to conduct a study, perform some measurements,' draft changes to-the Reactor Facility's Security Plan and obtain approval from our Reactor Safety Committee for the proposed changes.
As you are pr'obably aware, we also will be proposing changes - to the plan unrelated to the recommendations.
However, to accomplish all this s
, we will-need more than the thirty days (30) specified in the NRC
- letter.
Therefore, we are hereby requesting a sixty (60) day-extensiont period:for the. submittal of our response.
We appreciate your support in the upgrading of our plan.
