As agreed to at our.last meeting held about three months ago, we are confirming in writing the actions taken, and yet to be taken, by the University of Virginia reactor staff in response to s
the three recommendations contained in a Los Alamos research reactor sabotage study pertaining specifically to the University of Virginia Reactor Facility, j
q As regards-the UVAR Security Plan and Procedures, it has been reviewed and the changes recently discussed with the NRC have-s been incorporated.
This plan must next be reviewed and approved by our Reactor Safety Committee at a meeting now scheduled for the first week of June,-1990.
Following approval by the RSC, it will be sent to the NRC, also for review and approval.
The new plan
-will substitute a previously proposed plan submitted several years ago on which no regulatory action was taken.
