GENERIC LETTER 83-28 ITEM 2.1 (PAP,T 1), SAFETY EVALUATION (SE)

FOR FORT ST. VRAIN NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION (FSV)

We have completed our review of your submittals dated November 4,1983 and June 12,1985 (P-83359 and P-85204) with regard to Part 1 of Item 2.1 of Generic Letter 83-28. This item concerned identification, classification, and treatment of Reactor Trip System components as safety-related. This item was initially reviewed by our contractor, EG8G, Idaho, Inc. The contractor's Technical Evaluation Report (TER) is enclosed. Also enclosed is our SE which concurs with the contractor's findings and concludes that your program for this item is acceptable.

In your submittal of June 12, 1985, you indicated that this item would be implemented by January 3,1986. In your recent submittal dated October 31, 1986 (P-86610), you concluded that this action was implemented. Therefore, we consider this licensing action complete.
