during the period October 29 through November 2,1990, cf activities authorized

by NRC Operating-License DPR-34 for the Fort St. Vrain Nuclear Generating

Station, and to the discussion of our findings with Mr. C. Fuller and other

members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.

The : area examined during the-inspection was the fire protection / prevention

p program. Within this area,.the-inspection consisted of selective examination i

of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and

observations lby the inspector. The inspection findings are documented in the

' enclosed inspection report. ,.

. During this inspection,_ it was found that certain of your activities were in

violation of-NRC requirements. However, in accordance with Section V.G. of the

NRC's Enfor' cement Policy, no citation is being issued for the violation

described in Paragraph ? of the enclosed inspection report.
