Dear Mr. Gambhir:
The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No.193 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-40 for the Fort Calhoun Station, Unit No.1. The amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications (TS) in response to your application dated March 31,1999.
i The amendment revises TS Sections 2.10.4, 3.1, and Table 3-3 to increase the minimum

required reactor coolant system (RCS) flow rate and change surveillance requirements for RCS flow rate.
4 A copy of the related Safety Evaluation is also enclosed. The Notice of issuance will be included in the Commission's next biweekly Federal Reaister notice.
