This is to notify you (as required by Technical Specification 6.6.3.c) of a recent change in the organizational structure at the University of Virginia Reactor Facility. An organizational chart is attached for your information.

Dr. R.U. Mulder, Director of the Reactor Facility since July 1, 1984, will continue in that position. Effective August 1, 1985, a second reactor supervisor position was established and is now filled by Mr. P.E. Benneche, who has been a research engineer and Senior Teactor Operator at this facility for 6 years. Mr. Benneche will supervise the day to day operation of the UVAR reactor. Mr. J.P. Farrar, who has been the sole reactor supervisor for over 19 years, will remain in an overall supervisory position. However, his duties will be more administrative in nature.

Additionally, we notify you that Dr. T.G. Williamson, chairman of the Nucleor Engineering and Engineering Physics Department (NEEP), who has been on academic leave for a year, will return on September 1, 1985 to resume his duties. During the past year De Albert Reynolds has been the Acting Chairman of NEEP, as reported o' t e U S. NRC in July of 1984. /
