FIRST TEN-YEAR INTERVAL INSERVICE INSPECTION PROGRAM EVALUATION FOR CLINTON POWER STATION, UNIT 1 (TAC N0s. 62990 and 66523)

The Illinois Power Company submitted the First Ten-Year Interval Inservice Program for Clinton Power Station, Unit 1 for staff review on November 7,1986.

The staff has evaluated this program and concluded that the program is in compli,;nce with the requirements of lu CFR 50.55(g) and is acceptable.

Relief from the inservice inspection requirements is granted for Relief Request Numbers 4001, 4002 and 4003 and denied for Relief Raquest Numbers 5001 and 5002 for Clinton Power Station, Unit 1 pursuant to 10 CFR 50.55a(g)(6)(1).

This relief is authorized by law and will not endanger tife or property or the common defense and security and is otherwise in the public interest given due consideration to the burden upon ti,a licensee that could result if the requirements were imposed on the facility.
