RESPONSE TO GENERIC LETTER 90-03 FOR CLINTON POWER STAT AN (TACNO.76222)
On March 20, 1990, the NRC issued Generic Letter 90-03, " Relaxation of Staff Position in Generic letter 83-28, item 2.2 Part 2 ' Vendor Interface for Safety-Related Components.'" The GL requested that all licensees and applicants review their present vendor interface programs and modify them as necessary using the guidance supplied in the Generic Letter.
By' letter _ dated September 25, 1990, you responded to Generic Letter 90-03 and indicated that the vendor interfact program implemented at Clinton Power Station meets the guidance given in the Generic Letter 90-03. The staff has reviewed your response and finds it to be acceptable.
