a a SUMfGRY CF OPEPATING EXPERZENCE MARCH 1981 Indian Point Unit 3 was shutdown for the entire reporting period.
Completed main turbine repairs, inspection, and reassembly. The reactor was brought critical on March 30 at 2135 hours0.0247 days <br />0.593 hours <br />0.00353 weeks <br />8.123675e-4 months <br /> and shortly there after shutdown because of " drifting
- problems with the individual rod position indicators. This problem was resolved and the reactor brought critical again at 1943 hours0.0225 days <br />0.54 hours <br />0.00321 weeks <br />7.393115e-4 months <br /> on March 31.
As the main turbine was being brought up to speed there was a turbina trip on an electrical fault.
The fault was determined to be located in #32 nain transformer. The transformer is being disconnected in preparation for returning to service on #31 main transformer.
