JOSEPH M. FARLEY NUCLEAR PLANT UNIT 1 NARRATIVE
SUMMARY
OF OPERATIONS MAY, 1985 The cycle VI-VII refueling outage continued into the month of May. The unit was returned to service on May 27.
The following major safety-related maintenance was performed in the month of May:
1.
Miscellaneous corrective and preventive maintenance was
]
performed on the diesel generators.
2.
Eddy _ current examinations were performed on tubes in the IB steam generator. No tubes were found to exceed the pluggable limit.
3.
The anti-vibration bar (AVB) replacement in the IB steam generator was completed.
4.
An 0-ring leak on the IC reactor coolant pump seal housing was repaired.
i 5.
The removal, inspection and replacement of the containment vertical tendons is continuing with six vertical tendons remaining
-to be worked. Three vertical tendon anchors with cracks have been identified.
