N g< In accordance with Plant Technical Specification 6.9.2.a.3, the following ~ [' event is reported. . At approximately 0945 hours on July 15, 1982, the Auxiliary Opera tor

reported to the Shif t Foreman tha t he suspected tha t HVH-2 Motor Cooler l had a small leak. HVH-2 was secured immediately and its service water

{ isola ted . Wrther investiga tion determined that a small leak in the ' ! form of a mist existed in HVH-2 Motor Cooler. This was determined at 1125. In accordance with Technical Specification 3.3.2.2.a, operability testing of the containment spray pumps was completed at 1228 hours. This event is considered a degrada tion of a containment boundary pursuant to IE Bulletin 80-24 and is reported as such. This event was reported on July 15, 1982 to the NRC, Region II and 5 Mr. B. J.
