PROMPT NOTIFICATION - INSERVICE INSPECTION I
OF STEAM GENERATOR TUBES E-
Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
In accordance with Section 6.9.2.a. (3) of the Technical Specifications for the !!. B. Robinson Steam Electric Plant, Unit 2, the following event is reported.
During the current refueling outage, a 100% eddy current inspection of all three (3) steam generators was performed. Upon completion of the inspection on April 26, 1982, "B" and "C" steam generators had pluggable indications of 4.4% and 1.5%
respectively. Therefore, "B" and "C" steam generators are classified as sampling category C-3, which is reportable pursuant to Technical Specification 4.2.5.3.3.
A description of the inspection and planned corrective actions will be submitted in the licensee event report.
Mr. C. Julian, NRC Region II and Mr. B. J. Furr, Vice President - Nuclear Operations were notified of this event on April 27, 1982.
