design effort to the jobsite:

ALTERNATE ANALYSIS SCOPE PIPING

l. All alternate analysis work currently in progress by Gibbs & Hill / Dallas, ITT '

Grinnell and NPS Industries is to stopped imediately.

2. All preliminary design work existing in a form which needs only to be transferred to issuable documents is to be sent, in its o esent form, to B.J. Murray at the
Comanche Peak site. If support location infomation contained therein meetr, the limitations of the Alternate Analysis Criteria it will be incorporated and issued for construction at the site.

! 3. Problems in this scope not yet initiated in any "onn will be transferred as an on-site design responsibility. Any background information assembled relative to these problems (i.e. interface displacements, valve information, etc.) will be sent to B.J. Murray at the site. This infonnation will be clearly identified as to which problem (150 or Line no.) it belongs if so established. The Alternate Analysis Criteria will be applied to these problems on the front end at the site.

4. All typical support designs which are completed and have not been transinitted to the site will be sent at the earliest convenience. Back-up work (qualification) done to date for typical supports which has not yet been provided to the site will also be sent.

1 5. Generation of any new design work, analysis, or support design, will now be an i oa-site responsibility.

6. All previously analyzed problems using the G&H nomograph will be verified, or modified as required, by the Alternate Analysis Criteria, on site.

=

Page 2 of CPPA-3466 2" AND SMALLER, CLASS 2 AND 3 RIGOROUS DESIGNS i 1. All completed design work is to be transmitted to the site at the earliest convenience. In addition, all associated design input and qualifications are to be provided.

2. All completed stress problems that have no supports designed will be trans-ferred to the site. All future stress problems in this scope will be trans-mitted to B.J. Murray at the site for support design.
3. All related documentation design input, stress iso's, marked-up composite j drawings, load suninary sheets and other relevant information which will aid

} in completing the support design work in this scope will be provided to the i site in care of B.J. Murray. Appropriate identification of this material, l

traceable to the stress problem, will be required where applicable.
