O 2.2 RESxNSIsII2 RIES Ccnanche Peak Project Engineering (CPPE) is respcnsible for the proper dispositioniry of the Nonconformance Report. Additionally, the signature of the responsible CPP Engineer signifies approval by the Design Engineer (Gibbs and Hill, Inc.)
2.3 SCOPE 2e scope of this hm=nt is limited to the review and disposition-ing of nonconformances by CPSES Project Engineering. Nonconformances are originated within the various CPSES site organizations in accord-ances with References 1-A and 1-B.
I 2.4 EEFINITICN Nonconfocmance is a discrepancy, shortccming, insufficiency oc defect in characteristic, documentation or procedure which renders the quality of an item unacceptable cc indeterminate. Nonconfocmance requires design engineerire evaluation for resolution.

10/29/82 2 of 2 3.0 PBOCEDURE 3.1 ASSIGNMENT EOR DISPOSITICN 2e NCR shall be assigned for disposition to the gyswsiate CPPE Group Supervisor (per CP-EP-3.0 "CPPE Organization" Sect.3.3) by the project QA organization.
3.2 DISPOSITICN 2 e aey6 w 6iate discipline reviews the nonconformance and, sere possible, develops a dispositicn that is in a:apliance with the original design h==nts.
If the renconforming condition cannot be dispositioned within the original design documents, then a design change shall be initiated in accordance with the applicable project procedures.

Upm arriving at a dispositicn, the engineering organizaticn shall cmplete the NCR and attach and/or reference the we6+6iate supporting documentation. 'Ihe ccmpleted NCR shall be approved (by signature) by the CPPE Group Supervisor or his designee.
3.3 PBOCESSING me empleted NCR is forwarded to the responsible quality organiza-tien for review in accordance with project procedures. Any ccmnents on engineering assigned disposition will be resolved in a manner satisfactory to affected parties.
