As a result of recent changes to the NRC's rules contained in 10 CFR 55, Oregon State University would like to submit a revised reactor operator requalification program for the licensed operators of the Oregon

, State University TRIGA reactor. The purpose of this revision is to ensure that our current operator requalification program meets all applicable requirements of the revised Part 55.

The revised requalification program has been reviewed and approved by the OSTR Reactor Operations Committee. We believe the new plan is l responsive to the changes in Part 55, and look forward to your approval of our updated program. Please let me know if you have questions regarding the revised plan. )
