Subject:
10 CFR 50.54 (q) report of changes to the OSTR Emergency Response Plan, which do not decrease the effectiveness of the plan.
Gentlemen:
We would like to confinn the receipt of your May 17, 1984 letter advising us that the Commission approved the emergency response plan for the OSTR.
In keeping with this approval, we have begun the steps necessary to have the plan fully implemented as soon as possible.
Since a period of over one year elapsed during the review process for the OSTR plan, we felt that it would be appropriate to conduct the first of our required reviews of the plan prior to final implementation.
As a result of this effort, we concluded that several small changes to the plan should be made, but from our viewpoint none of the changes decrease the effectiveness of.the plan. As required by 10 CFR 50.54 (q), the changes are summarized for your information in this report, and three sets.of replacement pages are included with this cover letter which will allow you to revise our plan by directly inserting the new pages into your copies.
The changes listed below have been reviewed and approved by the OSTR Reactor Operations Committee.
Changes on all pages are indicated by a vertical line in the rignt margin of the page.
