Dear Hr.O'Reilly:

Per our November 14, 1980, interim report on the subject deficiency, we had indicated that all corrective action would be completed by March 1, 1981, at whicn time the final 10CPR50.55(e) report would be submitted.

The intent of this letter is to inform you that all corrective action has not yet been completed due to the encountering of the concrete bulge;the details of which are given below.It is now anticipated that all corrective action will be completed by IIarch 15, 1981, at which time the final 10CPR50.55(e) report will be submitted.

I To date the surface preparation for subsequent coating application has been completed and the primer coat applied.During the application of the primer coat, it was discovered that, midway down the slab, a concrete bulge existed that resulted from form leakage during the placement of the slab.This bulge had to be removed since it violated the gap tolerance that is to exist between the slab and the containment liner.The chipping out of the bulge is now complete and it is anticipated that the work (top coat applica-tion and damaged primer coat repairs)will be finished by Harch 15, 1981.
