AECM-84/0525, dated November 28, 1984 In the referenced letter, dated November 28, 1984, Mississippi Power and Light Company (MP&L) submitted to the NRC the TDI Diesel Generator Owners Group initial revision of the TDI Diesel Generator Design Review and Quality Revalidation (DR/QR) Report for the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station (GGNS). MP&L has subsequently received from the TDI Diesel Generators Owners Group, Revision 1 to the DR/QR Report. Based on a conversation with our NRC Project Manager, Mr. Les Kintner on March 6,1985, this transmittal provides seven ('/)

copies of the current revision.

MP&L has not completed its formal review of this report and, therefore, does not endorse its completeness, applicability to CGNS, or the recommendations contained therein. MP&L will submit a detailed discussion of the recommendations to the NRC at a later date describing the proposed MP&L implementation plan as required by the GGNS, Unit 1 Facility Operating License (NPF-29).
