In a letter dated March 10,1998 (GNRO-98/00016) we informed you that Grand Gulf Nuclear Station intended to implement the BWROG Accident Management Guidelines using Section 5 of NEl 91-04, Revision 1 no later than December 31,1998.

The purpose of this letter is to inform you that the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Severe Accident Management implementation was completed on December 23,1998. We found the effort to be worthwhile and believe that the station's ability to respond and mitigate events that may lead to core melt has been enhanced. Please feel free to contact Wayne  !
