SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-416/99-14
Dear Mr. Eaton:
This refers to the inspection conducted on August 30 through September 3,1999, at the Grand
Gulf Nuclear Station facility. The purpose of this inspection was to review your radioactive
waste effluent program and engineered-safety-feature air filtration testing program. The
enclosed report presents the results of this inspection.
We determined that radioactive waste effluent releases were properly controlled, monitored,
and quantified. Engineered-safety-feature air filtration and adsorption units were properly
tested and maintained,
in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its
enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR).
