During routine instrument surveillance testing, this swi tch was found to trip at 2.18 psig. The Technical Specification limit is less than or equal to 2 psig.

Designation of Apparent Cause of Occurrence:

Setpoint shi f t.

Analysis of Occurrence:

Since the setpoint shif t was only slight and this switch opera tes in a one-out-of-two twice logic, the safety implications of this occurrence are minimal.

Cor_rective Action:

The switch was checked to determine the cause of the setpoint shi f t. No speci fic cause was identi fied. The switch was reset to a value within the Technical Specification limits, setpoint checked using the appropriate surveillance test, and returned to service.

Failure Data:

No previous failures of this type for this type and range of switch.
