, . The RCIC Inboard Steas Supply Isolation valve (MO-3-13-15) failed to close.

t Conditions Prior to Occurrence:

} 575 power.

. Description of Occurrence: .

. j During the perfornance of a surveillance test, the valve failed to close from the control switch. The valve vas closed by =anually actuating the elece contactor f.or the valve at the motor control

! s center. The vklve was,then successfully strokei frem the control switch. The failure was not repeatchie.

Under investigation.

• tAnalysis of Occurrence:

i The safety i=plications of this' occurrence are -ininal because the

valve was closed by sanun,11y actuating the close contactor. Becacce

. , the valve was then succeccrully stroked from the control room, it van 8, not ceclared incperable.Further, the ontboard isolation valve j XO-3-13-16 was opernble to perfern an isolation, if required.
