!dentification of Occurrence:
Setpoints on the reactor high pressure scram switches were.fo.und to be less ec'nservative than that specified by the Technical Specifications (PS-2-2-3-55 D,C and D).
.onditions Prior to Occurrence:
j Unit 2 at 56% pcuer.
.escription of Occurrence:
During routine instru=ent surveillance testing the "D"
reactor high i
pressurc sertz svitch setpoint was found to be 9 PSIG greater than that specified by the Technical Specifications.
Subsequent testing of the other three switches revealed that channel "B" vas 4 PSIG high, Channel "C" was 2 PSIG high, and channel "A" was within specifications.
- esignation of Apparent Cause of Occurrence
4 The reason for the apparent' setpoint shift is still under investigation.

fnalysis of Occurrence:
Since the,setpoint shift vac slight (maximum shift of 9 PSIG at a setpoint l
of 1055 PSIG) 'and all svitches menitoring the reactor pressure were verified to be operational, this occurrence has minimal safety implientions..
- orrective Action
The channel "D" switch was im=ediately recalibrated, tested and returned to' service.
The testing of the re=aining channels of high precsure scran logic vas initiated, at which time, the other out of speci fication switches were discovered.
These switches were then recalibrated, tested, and l
returned to service.
