4 Unit 2 July 1 through July 31,1998 1.

Narrative Summarv of Operatina Experiences Unit 2 began the month of July at 88% core thermal power, limited by end-of-cycle coastdown.

The Unit reduced power to 60% starting at 23:00 on Jdy 10 to clean condenser waterboxes. The Unit returned to 84% core thermal power on July 11 at 14:00.

Unit 2 ended the month of July at 77% power.

Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station 4-Unit 3 July 1 through July 31,1998 l

1.

Narrative Summary of Operatina Experiences Unit 3 began the month of July at 100% power.

The Unit reduced power to 74% on July 11 starting at 04:00 to perform main steam isolation valve testing. The Unit retumed to 100% on July 12 at 02:00.

The Unit reduced power to 75% starting on July 24 at 24:00 to perform a control rod sequence exchange. The Unit returned to 100% on July 25 at 20:00.

Unit 3 ended the month of July at 100% power.
