FURTHER RESPONSE TO FOIA APPEAL 83-A-13 (DEVINE)

Discussion: In response to a Freedom of Tnfor: ration Act (FOIA) appeal submitted by the Government Accountability Project (GAP),

the Commission recently approved the release of the Office of Investigations (OI) report on allegations regarding the presence of Bechtel at the Zimmer Nuclear Power Station prior to November 1982. See SECY-83-298 for incoming correspondence and initial response. OI has now collected and reviewed the background documentation associated with that report and[ recommends
