ZIMMER NUCLEAR POWER STATION - UNIT 1 10CFR50. 55 (e) , ITEM Q-ll, FAILURE TO IMPLEMENT QA PROGRAM CORRECTIVE ACTION REPORTING SYSTEM W.O. 57300, JOB E-5590, FILE NO. 956C, 0-11 This letter constitutes an interim report concerning the subject reportable condition reported to the Commission on September 7, 1983 under 10CFR50. 55 (e) . Our previous report, LOZ-83-0174, was submitted on October 7, 1983.

A reverification of all Condition Evaluation Requests (CER's) , Corrective Action Requests (CAR's) and Management Corrective Action Recuests IMCAR's), per the resolution of MCAR 83-13, is in process.

To preclude recurrence, proposed procedures for processing corrective action documents have been developed per the requirements of FSAR Chapter 17.1 (Revision 98) and the proposed Project Quality Assurance Manual (PQAM). The reverification program will include all CER's, CAR's and MCAR's processed prior to the implementation of these new procedures.

A follow-up report dicailing our progress in this matter will be submitted by January 30, 1984.
